The West River Good Sports Program serves young athletes (grades preK-6) in our schools and community. Registration is open to students who attend NewBrook, Townshend and Jamaica Village Schools as well as home-schooled children and those that attend other schools in the community. The programs are run by volunteer coaches. Without coaches, our programs cannot run. Please consider volunteering your time and energy to our sports programs if you can.

Please submit your registration form (below) BEFORE your child arrives to their first practice. There is a small registration fee for each sport. Please bring your payment either to your admin assistant at school or to your first practice. Thank you.

FALL

Soccer season begins in September and runs until late October. Students practice once or twice during the week (dependent upon coach/field availability). Games for K-3 are on Saturday mornings at L&G MS/HS fields. 4/5/6 team will play games locally throughout the week (schedule to come). REGISTRATION BEGINS IN LATE AUGUST
WINTER

Basketball season begins in January and runs until March. Students practice once or twice during the week (dependent upon coach/gym availability). Games are on Saturday mornings. REGISTRATION BEGINS IN DECEMBER
SPRING

T-Ball/Softball/Baseball season begins in late April and runs until mid-late June. Students practice once or twice a week (dependent upon coach/field availability). Games are scheduled in the evenings throughout the week. T-Ball games are on Saturdays. CLICK HERE TO REGISTER
